#diy #hvac #tools #packout I thought it would be a fun practical exercise to design custom inserts for my Milwaukee PACKOUT cases to fit my HVAC tools. Checkout a similar design I did for the [[testo 310 Combustion Analyzer + Milwaukee PACKOUT]]. ![[testocase-full.png]] # Design Goals Contain my Testo HVAC Tools: - testo 550s smart manifold gauge with wired temperature clamp probes - testo 552i vacuum gauge + yellow jacket 93843 1/4" ball valve - testo 405i hot-wire anemometer - testo 410i vane anemometer ... into a Milwaukee PACKOUT 48-22-8435. I added some 3/4" thick foam padding sheets adhered to the folding lid to provide a little security when the case is being carried around. I added some custom latches which I printed in black and white PETG on my Bambu A1 Mini AMS ## Files - [Autodesk Fusion 360](https://github.com/grumpymaker/packout3d/releases/download/v1/Packout.48-22-8435.-.Testo.Guage.and.Smart.Probes-v1.f3d) - [PACKOUT Insert - Part 1.stl](https://github.com/grumpymaker/packout3d/releases/download/v1/Packout48228435-TestoGuageAndSmartProbes-Part1-v1.stl) - [PACKOUT Insert - Part 2.stl](https://github.com/grumpymaker/packout3d/releases/download/v1/Packout48228435-TestoGuageAndSmartProbes-Part2-v1.stl) (FUTURE: Add latches.) # Images ![[testoinsertonprinter.png]]![[testocase-empty.png]]![[testocase-closed.png]]
