## Notes from Amazon Reviews       My wife and I have struggled with skin rashes since we installed our hot tub a year ago. We kept our water right at recommended chemistry and experimented with chlorine and bromine sanitation, without success. Installing this system solved our problem completely. The water is smooth, odorless, and crystal clear. Red eyes on our six year old grand daughter are a thing in the past. Without a doubt, this product will exceed your water quality expectations.   There are downsides with this system, though. Proper installation is a bear! We live in reasonably cold New England. Lack of cold weather capability requires that the power supply be located inside the house. Taking the cautious approach of shutting off power when the generator is removed during hot tub use requires the installation of a waterproof switch at the hot tub. Warnings about water damage to the controller requires the installation of a weather proof enclosure. Requiring the generator to be installed vertically in the deepest part of the hot tub necessitates an easy to remove mounting system. Luckily, I am an engineer, and Amazon sells all the required parts that were needed.   Operation of the system is not without issues. The generator raises the pH in the hot tub. Plan on making pH adjustments daily. Depending on the generation rate, pH will rise from the 7.4 aim point to 8.0, or higher in 24 hours. Controlomatic recommends operating the system at fairly high hardness levels. Plan on cleaning calcium power out of the generator on a weekly basis. This is a fairly easy task, though.   I did a lot of research before switching to saltwater on the hot tub. After experiencing the operational issues, upon review, I found subtle similar descriptions buried in various articles.
