Important update on the Semi-Smart electronics kit! As said before, we had a delay in the shipping of the Semi-smart electronics kit. This was caused by an issue I found during testing, where a component could blow up, if the software got stuck in a certain loop. The software would be easy to fix, but I did not want to send out PCB kits that could permanently damage themselves this easily. Therefore I asked Blurolls to delay shipment until this issue would be fixed, even tho we had kits in stock since the 20th of April. Today I finished testing all functions with a new adapted kit. This took long because, well, if you test something that does not fix the issue of blowing up a component, you first need to repair that component before you can test the 2nd iteration. Let's just say it has cost me a few sleepless nights.. There is just 1 more thing to test and that is the long-term function (for if you leave the unit heating for 48hrs straight) I expect to finish this this weekend. Then we can adapt all the kits we currently have in stock, and ship them out (finally) I am truly sorry for the massive delay this has caused, but I could not get myself to send out kits with such a big known issue.

Hey everybody,
I understand there is some inconsistency around the kit versions. Therefore, some explanation on the situation;
**There were 2 major changes in the hardware kit:**
**Change 1**
I adapted some panels for easier MMU servicing and to allow the MMU to feed downwards into the chamber. There were 3 panels changed, of which 2 are critical for use. The issue was found on the 7th of April, and all stock in GER and CHINA was immediately adapted to fit new panels.
- People who ordered from GER or CHINA warehouse **after the 7th of April** have already received the new panels.,
- People who ordered from USA warehouse **after the 19th of May**, have received the new panels.,
**People who ordered before the above-mentioned dates have received old panel versions. I truly am sorry for the inconvenience and the lack of clarity on this matter. To try and help/ offer a solution, all people with old kits will soon get an email, where they can choose to:*
*- Get a $20 refund if you want to adapt the panels you received for use on COREBOXX (manual will be attached) or source the panels locally (production files are in the printables)*
*or*
*- Get a kit with all new panels free of charge, shipped to their doorstep. (For USA customers, this will however take 6 weeks to arrive, since shipment will go through our US warehouse because of the tariffs.)*
**Change 2**
More recently, I switched the spoolholders to a rewinder-based system. Therefore, the hardware contents of the kit were changed to include the extra bolts, bearings, and rubber bands for the filament rewinders.
- People who ordered the kit from the 23rd of May will receive the updated kit, including all new parts.
*People who ordered after the 23rd of May can refer to the sourcing guide to buy the changed parts locally (about €10 on Aliexpress). Alternatively, we can ship the new parts free of charge in a second shipment, but just like the panels, USA customers will have to wait several weeks before arrival*
I hope this gives some clarification ot the matter, and again I am truly sorry for any inconvenience caused.
